Valerie holds a Bachelors of Laws degree from the University of Leeds, UK and Master of Laws in Clinical Legal Education (LLM) from the University of Law, London. She was subsequently called to the Bar of England & Wales in March 2022 and admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya in March 2023.
Prior to her admission to the Malaysia Bar, she underwent her pupilage at Messrs Thomas Philip, a middle size litigation firm located in Kuala Lumpur. Following that, she was retained in the same firm as a legal associate.
