Firm refutes allegations on ‘free land’

KUALA LUMPUR: Landasan Lumayan Berjaya Sdn Bhd (LLBSB) has denied allegations and a police report made on April 20 by activist and politician Badrul Hisham Shaharin that it was given land in Dengkil by the Selangor government. In a statement issued by Berjaya Land Bhd, LLBSB said the allegations are not only baseless and inaccurate but also maliciously intended to hurt its reputation.

Businessman Lim Kok Boon ordered to pay civil penalty of RM1 mil and RM142,500 to Securities Commission Malaysia in disgorgement gain

Berjaya Land succeeds in overturning COA decision to cancel Selangor Turf Club plan

KUALA LUMPUR (Oct 30): The Federal Court on Monday set aside the Court of Appeal's (COA) decision two years ago to cancel the Selangor Turf Club (STC) project mooted by Berjaya Land Bhd in 2004. In a bourse filing, Berjaya Land said the apex court allowed its appeal against the Selangor government and the director of the Selangor Country Planning Department (JPBD) with costs of RM80,000, and reinstated the orders made by the High Court in 2017.
